Sara Mansour

Born and raised in Amman, Jordan, Sara Mansour started her career in fashion by attending London College of Fashion in the UK. She then continued her education at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles and Woodbury University in Los Angeles. Sara began to acquire actual work experience by collaborating with renowned designers in Los Angeles including Louis Verdad, Adolfo Sanchez and Odilon by Stacey Clark. She also ran her first full fashion show at Woodbury University, which was show cased at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California. During her last summer in Los Angeles, Sara spend her time interning with her patternmaking instructor, to gain as much experience as possible before moving back home to Amman.
In January 2015, Sara Mansour launched her fashion atelier in Amman. She gradually began designing ready to wear, gowns and bridal wear. She managed to launch her first clothing line for spring/summer 2016; inspired by romantic silhouettes and nature. Some of her pieces were sold at Leggera Nell Aria, a boutique store in London.

Not only is Sara Mansour selling her collection at retail stores, but also producing custom gowns and bridal wear for made to fit orders and building a large network of clients. Sara is also interested in spreading her knowledge in fashion to others. She taught various fashion design workshops with topics including technical sketches using CAD (Photoshop & Illustrator) and has already instructed over 80 students at centers, and schools. She also devised a special curriculum for kids between the ages of 8 and 16 to creatively teach them the basics of fashion design.
Currently, Sara Mansour is working on her Spring / Sumer 2019 collection, which will be titles as: The Power of Versatility. The collection will be inspired by the shades and complexity of the fig fruit. Sara hopes the collection will convey the depth of the fig’s colors and textures while simultaneously embracing its sweet taste. The line will represent powerful women who live to make a statement and have a distinctive style. For this collection, Sara is utilizing sheer material and deploying multiple techniques of pleating and appliqués, that will ultimately flow seamlessly in a romantic tone, emphasizing the woman’s silhouettes.
Using her home as the base for her creativity, Sara is planning to take her collection worldwide someday. Her passion for the art of fashion will allow her to continue to design pieces that cater to the modern woman around the world, and that speak to the aspirational female ambition that is depicted around us at this time and age.
